IIM Calcutta said that it has recorded 100% placement of Post Graduate Program (PGP) students that are around 441. IIMC further said in a statement that 123 firms from various sectors participated in the placement and had made 501 offers, where 15% of the batch received more than one offer.
Companies that participated were: AT Kearney, Bain & Co, The Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey & Co, EY-Parthenon, Alvarez & Marsal, PwC, Accenture, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, CitiBank, JP Morgan Chase, Deutsche Bank, Avendus, Amazon, Uber, Udaan, Media.Net, Flipkart, Microsoft, Salesforce, Aditya Birla Group, Mahindra, Wipro, Hindustan Unilever.
Despite being 441 students in the 54th batch of institute’s flagship Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), 501 jobs offers were made from 123 companies participated from several sectors. 29% of the batch accepted offers in Consulting, 21% from Finance, 14% in General Management, 12% in Sales & Marketing and 8% in IT Analytics.
The average CTC offered was 24.96 lakhs.
