With an objective to provide proper guidance for JEE 2022, Aakash+BYJU’S, the national leader in test preparatory services, conducted an academic workshop cum motivational talk for engineering aspirants, The event JEE Champions of Aakash+BYJU’S on May 29, 2022 at Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi. The talk was hosted by Mr Chirag Fallor, an Aakash alumni and JEE Advanced 2020 AIR 1 rank holder. The event was graced by Aakash’s founder and CMD Mr JC Chaudhry, who gave an outstanding speech.
The talk was about Engineering as a Career. Chirag Falor, shared valuable insights on how a mentor can play an important role in nurturing the career aspirations of students. He talked about how students can prepare for exams like Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) in a better way. He also shared tips on time and stress management. He said, “Time and tide never wait for anyone. It is thus essential to value time.”
Students got a first-hand opportunity to listen and get inspired by the impeccable academic track record of Chirag Falor who won Two Gold Medals for India at the prestigious 13th International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA – 2019), topped JEE Advanced with an AIR of 1 (2020), is a Bal Shakti Puraskar awardee – the highest award for Indian civilians under the age of 18 and has also won the ‘Best Student’ Award at MIT.
Students got tips and strategies to ace JEE; an insider’s look at campus life at IIT/ MIT; How to manage time effectively; How to overcome challenges faced during preparation journey; Ways to keep up the motivation levels and Ways in which Aakash BYJU’S can help students achieve their career goals.
The students there interacted with the IITians and a team of Aakash Experts on topics such as challenges on the path to becoming a successful engineer, opportunities available, how to prepare etc. This interactive session answered the queries of students and parents and helped students in clarifying their doubts.
Said, Mr JC Chaudhry, CMD, Aakash+BYJU’S, “In order to succeed, it is important to pursue your goals with conviction. Aakash is committed towards shaping the future of its students. There are vast career options available today and students need guidance on the same. I am sure that a platform like this may help not only the students but also the parents and guide them in a right direction.”
The academic workshop was attended by over 1000 enthusiastic engineering aspirants and their parents. The practical tips shared by experienced Aakash+BYJU’S faculty present there gave students important insights on engineering entrance exams.
The counselling session was well received by the students and parents. Shradhha Sharma, a participant at the seminar said, “The program was very useful. It answered a lot of queries and doubts that I had. I am confident that with experienced faculty at Aakash I can aim to achieve top rank in JEE.” The students and parents were profuse in expressing their gratitude and appreciation. They requested for similar workshops to be conducted in the future as well.
