Around 54 various vacant posts have been advertised by the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE), at its official website, icfre.gov.in. From April 1, onwards the online application process will start and conclude on May 15, 2019. On the basis of written examination and interview, the candidates will be selected. Those who get selected will get a salary of around Rs 1.7 lakh (1, 77,500) per month. The qualification needed for candidates to apply for these posts is Bachelor’s, Master’s degree in Science & Engineering.
This examination will be held in 10 cities across India which are:

- Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu)
- Dehradun (Uttarakhand)
- Guwahati (Assam)
- Hyderabad (Telangana & Andhra Pradesh)
- Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh)
- Jodhpur (Rajasthan)
- Jorhat (Assam)
- Ranchi (Jharkhand)
- Shimla (Himachal Pradesh)
