The Assam Higher Secondary (HS) Result 2025 has been officially announced today, April 30 at 9 AM, by the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), formerly known as AHSEC. Students can now check their Class 12 scores across all streams on the official websites — ahsec.assam.gov.in and assamresult.in.
To access their marks, students must enter their roll number and exam code. Alternatively, they can register at education.indianexpress.com to receive their results more conveniently.
Stream-Wise Pass Percentage (2025)
Here’s how students performed this year in the AHSEC Class 12 exams:
- Science: 84.88%
- Commerce: 82.18%
- Arts: 81.03%
- Vocational: 68.55%
A total of 3,02,420 students appeared for the exams held from February 13 to March 17, with practical exams conducted earlier from January 29 to February 10.
Mark Sheet and Scorecard Details
- The digital scorecard available online is valid for provisional use in college admissions.
- The official mark sheets will be distributed later by respective schools.
- Students in the “certain subjects” category or those who failed must apply in person at ASSEB Division-2, Bamunimaidam, Guwahati to collect printed mark sheets.
Compartment and Withheld Result Info
- Students eligible for compartment, betterment, or repeat exams will be allowed to take them in the next regular cycle. Only one chance will be provided.
- For withheld results, students must apply through their school principal to the Controller of Examinations within 30 days of result declaration.
