National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate (MBBS/BDS/Ayush Courses) every year for the admission in medical and dental colleges. The test was formally known as All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT).
In early days, before NTA the test used to be run by was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
An applicants who wishes to consider courses needs to have Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology as their obligatory subjects in 10th and 12th. The NEET test take place online in 11 languages — English, Hindi, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Marathi, Urdu Bengali, Telugu, Kannada, and Assamese. The length of the assessment is three hours to address 180 questions. The test paper is separated into three segments — Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology).
