Last year, Covid-19 had necessitated certain changes to the common admission test (CAT) exam format which will be continued this year as well. The only change this year is the reduction in the number of questions across sections, which is aimed to help the candidates with adequate time to compete the exam.
MP Ram Mohan, convenor, CAT 2021 stated, “Last year’s CAT format changes were necessitated due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Since we are witnessing the same pandemic issue this year as well, the CAT 2021 exam format will largely remain the same. He added that the CAT committee did not receive any complaint from the candidates while holding CAT 2020 that followed the new format.
