The results are not expected before the third week of July, CBSE has written to foreign Universities as well, requesting them for more time
With its Class 12 results yet to be declared, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has written to Kerala and Tamil Nadu governments as well as ICSI, requesting them an extension of their respective admission processes for the upcoming academic year. The board has written to foreign universities as well, regarding the same. As per the sources CBSE results are likely to be announced after the third week of July.
The delay in results has created panic among students and parents, as almost all other state education boards have already released their results. Taking up the issue, CBSE approached UGC, which in turn issued an advisory to institutions to plan their admission calendar keeping the date of CBSE results in their mind.
Over the last week or so, the Board has approached Directorate of Technical Education in Tamil Nadu, Department of General Education in Kerala, requesting them to wait for its class 12 results.
CBSE had conducted its Class 10, 12 Board examinations in two phases, and final results will be based on the performance of students in both the exams.
