Several students writing their class 10 CBSE board exams this year complained of various errors in their Odia question paper. CBSE set up a team to investigate the problem and came up with a report within 24 hours by March 14.
The committee accepted the mistakes and stated students were to get a revised mark sheet based on the reports they prepared. The revised results have been sent to their schools already.
“Based on the report of the expert committee, the CBSE has evaluated the OMRs of Odia Class-X with the correct answer key approved by the expert committee. The revised performance of students has been since sent to the concerned schools for onward information of the students. A total of 28310 students have benefitted as a result of this revision,” the official statement said.
The issue came to the forefront when students vented their anger about scoring less marks in the second language Odia paper on social media especially for the mistakes made by the board. The CBSE published the class 10 term 1 results on March 12. Students are requested to collect it from their respective schools.
