The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) under the Ministry of Human Resources Development and National wellbeing mission, Public Health Department, Government of Maharashtra has collaborated and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Arogya Bhavan, Mumbai.
This MoU is engaged at offering the vocational program to the Health Service Providers of National Health Mission (NHM) through National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). The point is to confer uniform, organized and quality preparing to Multipurpose Health Workers, Class III Male Health Workers and Community Health Workers, trailed by their assessment, evaluation and confirmation. Furthermore, Secondary, Senior Secondary, Vocational training and Community Health Workers confirmation will be completed for ASHAs. NIOS will likewise create altered courses and preparing programs for NHM according to require investigation.
