The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has started accepting applications for the COMEDK UGET 2025 exam. This exam helps students secure admission to engineering colleges in Karnataka. The registration began on February 3, 2025, and will remain open until March 15, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online at comedk.org.
Who Can Apply?
Students must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. General category students need at least 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics combined. SC/ST/OBC candidates require a minimum of 40%. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory. Students can choose Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Electronics as an additional subject. Diploma holders cannot apply since lateral entry is not allowed.

Fees and Exam Details:
- The application fee is Rs 1,950 (excluding taxes) for engineering applicants.
- Candidates applying for both engineering and medical programs must pay Rs 3,200 (excluding convenience fees).
- The exam lasts three hours and includes 180 questions. Each question carries one mark. The test covers Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
