What kind of students from India apply to NYU Shanghai?
At the undergraduate level, NYU Shanghai evaluates a student’s overall abilities. First, young students must all be able to communicate in and out of the classroom. We require all students to have a strong grasp of English – listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Our classes will be conducted in English.

NYU Shanghai is poised to nearly double its student population over the next couple of years, reaching more than 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students. The university also has aggressive plans for new faculty hiring, new program development, and advancing research initiatives.
