Delhi University has introduced a Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for the admission of Undergraduate students as announced on 28th May. Those who have taken the CUET UG exam are eligible to sign up for the CSAS application portal on the official website HERE. The UG Common Seat Allocation System for 2024 consists of three phases. Phase I involves applying to the University of Delhi, phase II entails filling preferences for programs and colleges, and phase III involves allocation and admission.
As per DU registrar Vikas Gupta, the university will now reserve supernumerary seats to enrol single-child girl students in every course starting this year. Admissions for the School of Open Learning and Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) have also been opened by DU. Admissions for certain courses will depend on CUET scores, while other courses will be based on class 12 marks.
