The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently released a notification that states that the application window for the CSIR-UGC NET 2020 is being reopened for the candidates who have not had the chance to apply for the examination yet.
As per NTA, students have been facing problems filling the form online due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and hence the application window for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research UGC NET has been reopened.
The official notice states, “In view of the representation received from many students who have not filled application form due to the changed circumstances arising out of COVID-19 and request received from the CSIR, NTA has decided to reopen the portal again for few weeks.”
The notice further states that this is also applicable to other students who have not been able to complete the application or submit the application form for CSIR- UGC NET June 2020 due to one reason or another.
How to apply online?
Step 1: Visit the official website of the exam i.e. csirnet.nta.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the relevant link to fill the application
Step 3: You will be directed to a new page
Step 4: Fill out all the relevant information in the application form
Step 5: Make the application fee payment
Step 6: Click on ‘Submit’ and download the application form for future reference
Candidates can submit their application forms online till September 10. The application fee has to be paid by the candidate online. For any other details, the candidates are advised to visit the official website of CSIR i.e. csirnet.nta.nic.in.
