This hiring is a part of Infosys target of creating 500 jobs in the state by 2022. Infosys had announced on May 2017, that it will set up four technology & innovation hubs and will hire about 10,000 locals in the US over a two-year period.
These technology and innovation hubs are being set up in Indianapolis (Indiana), Raleigh (North Carolina), Hartford (Connecticut), and Phoenix (Arizona). Infosys, Providence Centre, has further said that it will help to close the gap for design & human-centric skills in technology fields and enhance the company’s ability to provide digital technologies.
This centre is going to offer early-career designers and design graduates training opportunities with in-demand digital skills that includes exposure to systems, platforms, strategy and organization domains, to make them more employable in today’s digital world. These initiatives are taken to benefit Infosys clients & industry partners from increased access to top-tier designers and subject matter experts.
