Delhi University started its UG admission process from 30 May and the students who have been waiting for the commencement of the registration process will have taken a sigh of relief. The registration for admission into the UG programmes has started from yesterday 8 PM on the official website of the university. The students who are interested to take admission in the university need to visit the official website and register themselves.
The university has started its application process late this year and it has made some changes to it also. The students need to know these changes so that they do not miss on any important thing. In a change that has been made by the university this year is for the students whose parents are no more or unemployed. The university is thinking of giving full scholarships to such students whose parents are no more or unemployed.
In an official statement released by the Delhi University, it said, “The University of Delhi is considering to provide full scholarships to students whose both parents are deceased or unemployed and half fee waiver to those students whose earning member is deceased in order to cover their college or university fee.” If this decision is implemented in the admission policies, then it will surely be a landmark in the history of DU.
