The University of Delhi (DU) is about to start the application process for its postgraduate program admissions. Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh announced that beginning from April 25, 2024, the university will initiate the application process for the 2024-25 academic year for postgraduate programs, followed by undergraduate programs in mid-May.
DU will start the admissions with 82 postgraduate courses, along with opening registration for three BTech programs and two five-year integrated programs. Admission to BTech programs will take place through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), while for BA LLB, it will be via the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).
In 2023, the university proposed to start joint degree, dual degree, and joint research programs.
The university utilized the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) admissions, and selected candidates based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET).
The CUET PG 2024 results have been released, the CUET UG examination is scheduled for May, 2024.
The CUET PG examination for the year 2024, took place from March 11 to March 28, 2024, with approximately 4,62,603 individual registered candidates. Among them, 190 universities, including DU, are partaking in CUET PG.
For the CUET UG 2024, NTA has received over 13 lakh applications. According to data provided by NTA, a total of 13,47,618 students have registered for CUET UG 2024.
