On September 4th, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Education Minister of India, will unveil the Compendium of UGC Regulations, a comprehensive document detailing the regulations issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC) from 1957 to 2023. The launch event will be attended by Vice-Chancellors from across India, marking a significant moment in the nation’s higher education sector. The compendium can be accessed HERE.
The event will also feature the inaugural session of the “UGC Workshop on Institutional Development Plan,” to be launched by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, alongside Shri K. Sanjay Murthy, Secretary of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, and Prof. M. Jagadesh Kumar, UGC Chairman. Following the inauguration, a distinguished panel of experts from IITs, IIMs, and various industries will discuss the UGC’s Institutional Development Plan (IDP) Guidelines and address queries from participants.
