Soon after Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced the live interaction with the students on December 10, students have taken Twitter by a storm, pushing for the postponement of the upcoming board exams and entrance tests.
Students are voicing their opinions against the conduction of board exams 2021 in February and March on Twitter, using the hashtag #EducationMinisterGoesLive. Students have put forward many points for the postponement of exams this academic session.
One of the major points highlighted was the lack of serious studies and syllabus completion in online classes conducted by schools. Many students have said that online classes are “just a formality” and classroom teaching is required.
Candidates are also pushing for the postponement of JEE Main 2021 and NEET 2021 as several students are facing problems completing their syllabus in these uncertain times. The reduction of the syllabus is also a highlighted demand of the students.
