The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) in Hyderabad has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Odisha Skill Development Authority (OSDA) a body under the Government of Odisha on 20th of February, 2024. The MoU aims to foster cooperation between EFLU and OSDA including enhancing the English and foreign language skills of the youth in Odisha.
Prof. Surabhi Bharati, the Acting Vice Chancellor of EFL University told about the institution’s rich history in teaching English and foreign languages. The primary goal of the MoU is to boost the employability of Odisha’s youth by improving their proficiency in English and foreign languages.
The Vice Chancellor said that the MoU also seeks to encourage overseas employment opportunities for the youth by providing them with language proficiency and creating a conducive environment for learning specific foreign languages. She described this initiative as part of a collaborative effort with the Government of Odisha to enhance the skills of students in the state.
This collaboration between EFLU and OSDA is set to last for an initial period of three years.
