The Goa Board is all set to hold the examination for Class X and Class XII.
While Class X exams are starting from May 21, the Class XII students are about to appear for their pending three papers from Wednesday till Friday.
As per the set of guidelines that the Board has issued, it said that student arriving 30 minutes late for the examination will be disqualified and that candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before one hour from the commencement of the paper.
It is to be noted that nearly 18,000 students will appear for Class X examination, while another 17,000 students will answer Class XII papers.
The examination will be held across 2460 classrooms, with 12 students in each.
Officials added that in view of COVID-19, all essential precautions like compulsory masks by supervisors and students, social distancing, and sanitisation of the exam rooms have been done.
Also, a few special volunteers have been taken-in to to assist the candidates to reach to their respective blocks.
The board has said that no parents will be permitted in the vicinity of 200 metres of the examination centres.
The Board is also making provisions of glucose, water bottles, masks, sanitizers and a small medical team for candidates.
