Q. AST AeroSystems, incepted in 2016, offers intelligent solutions across engineering domain. Whom do you accredit your company’s success to?
I feel credits should go to our clients who are making us successful. Apart from them our promoters, employees, supporters, family and friends, everyone has got their own share for credits. More than hard work, smart work is involved in our company that drives the entrepreneurial spirit.
Q. Could you take us back to the particular moment when you decided to start AST AeroSystems?
Coming to a particular moment, our promoter was fond of turbulence problem in aircrafts, and industry was also looking at manufacturing, maintenance, cost cut downs along with airworthiness. After an in-depth research and conversations with industry experts – both within country and overseas, we landed into the serious business of aircraft noise and power-problems.
Q. How is AST addressing the challenges of engineering industry?
Engineering sector is all about performance, but engineering industries also look for best feasibility, availability, standardized/ cost cut down options. So, we help them to address all of the above.

Q. Could you shed some light on services you offer for your customers?
We do Product Development Engineering Services, to Aerospace/ Defense industry. where we deal with whole product life cycle.
Q. If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?
You have to follow your inner voice, and using a little common sense in all the tasks helps move practically in the career.
Q. What keeps you inspired when sailing the boat of entrepreneurship feels a little shaky?
Aerospace Industries history inspires me a lot. As a first option, that itself makes me drive/ motivate to serve industry and solve its technical problems.
Q. What kind of attributes do you look in for when you are employing a candidate in your company?
Common sense, Punctuality, Smart work and Multi-Disciplinary Knowledge are the factors I look for, as there lies our philosophy.
Q. Tell us about your expansion plan?
For now, we are addressing aerospace and defence sectors requirements with a steady slow pace, providing state of the art technology. Our futuristic vision is to expand the same to other sectors.
