Adding a new vibe to the list of courses offered by Goa University, the varsity has gone ahead to launch a program in Vaastu and Astrology. The undergraduate students may take up this course, now in the academic year 2019-2020.
The college has also taken an initiative to offer a course in the ancient languages of Sanskrit, Pali and Prakrit.
This boosts up the interest of the students who wishes to take a deep interest in the ancient India.
To translate, Vaastu shastra refers to the architectural design of a place as per some scientific rules.
Goa University now stands among the few universities who offer these kind of courses.
