We would like to congratulate the Honourable Finance Minister Shri. Ajit Pawar for giving priority to Education and Women Development. His vision to open 4 schools in each taluka and nearly 1500 schools in the coming four years will help improve the current literacy rate in Maharashtra. The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model has been very successful in the transformation of Education landscape in Maharashtra and we hope that the Government continues to use the same for the proposed schools.
Engaging companies with a proven track record in the industry, to set up and manage these schools will ensure a smooth rollout of these schemes. In addition to this, engaging third party monitoring of achievements at the ground-level will enable the Government to focus more on governance than management of the proposed schools.
The vision to upgrade Industrial Training Institutes and transform them into modern skilling centres will create a skilled workforce, enable them higher remuneration and empower them with future skills. We hope that the government will introduce virtual interactive classrooms in addition to the physical classrooms.
