The GRID Controller of India has announced a recruitment drive for Executive Trainees, offering 47 vacancies. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
– Possess a full-time regular degree in B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.)/IDD from a recognised university or institute.
– Have appeared for the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper in GATE 2025.
– Be 28 years or younger as of 31 July 2025 (born on or after 1 August 1997).
Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their GATE-2025 EE paper scores. Shortlisted individuals will proceed to the next stages, including Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). A behavioural assessment may also be conducted as part of the evaluation process. Call letters and other relevant documents will be accessible through candidate logins.
Pay Scale and Benefits
Selected candidates will join at the E2 level with a pay scale of Rs 50,000–1,60,000 (IDA). During the one-year On-The-Job Training (OJT), they will receive applicable allowances and benefits. Successful completion of the training will result in regularisation at the same pay scale. The training period may be extended based on performance assessments.
