The initiative invites engineering and non-engineering graduates, along with technical and non-technical diploma holders, to undergo apprenticeship training at the Korwa facility in Uttar Pradesh.
HAL, known for its contribution to India’s aviation and defence technology, stated that this training opportunity aims to help young graduates gain hands-on experience and develop industrial skills in a professional environment.
The programme will run for one year, offering a monthly stipend as per the rules set by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT), Kanpur.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates who have completed their qualifications from any recognised board or university are eligible to apply.
For Engineering Graduate Apprentices:
Applicants must hold a four-year BE/BTech degree in one of the following branches:
- Electronics Engineering (including allied branches)
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
For Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices:
A three-year degree in any of the following disciplines is required:
- Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
- Bachelor of Science (Electronics/Computer Science)
- Bachelor of Arts – English (BA English)
For Diploma Apprentices (Technical):
A three-year diploma from a recognised institution in one of these branches:
- Electronics Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Hotel Management or Hotel Management and Catering Technology
For Diploma Apprentices (Non-Technical):
- General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) – 3-year diploma
- Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice (MOM & SP) – 2 years diploma
The maximum age limit is 26 years as on October 31, 2025, with relaxations of 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and up to 10 years for PwD candidates.

- Register on NATS portal:
Visit mhrdnats.gov.in and create an ID using your name, email address, and phone number.
- Visit HAL’s official website:
Go to www.hal-india.co.in and open the ‘Careers’ section to find the official recruitment notification.
- Access and fill out the Google Form:
Click the Google Form link provided in the notification and fill in accurate details including diploma marks, personal information, and contact details.
- Submit the form:
Review all information before submitting the application online.
- Print the form:
Take a printout of the submitted form for future verification during document checking.
- Application deadline:
The last date to apply is October 31, 2025. Late submissions will not be accepted.

SELECTION AND TRAINING DETAILS
Selection will be entirely merit-based, determined from 100 percent of the aggregate marks secured in the qualifying examination.
No written test or interview will be held. The provisional merit list will be announced on HAL’s official website, www.hal-india.co.in, between November 20 and 22, 2025.
The document verification process for shortlisted candidates will take place from November 25 to December 3, 2025, at HAL Korwa. Selected candidates must present their original mark sheets, certificates, ID proof, and caste or disability certificates if applicable.
The apprenticeship duration is one year, during which trainees will receive a stipend as per BOAT Kanpur regulations. HAL clarified that completion of the apprenticeship does not guarantee employment but provides valuable industrial experience.
