We collaborate and partner with many institutions for research, student events, faculty and student exchange, and skill development.These include Indian as well as foreign (mainly European) institutions.
Q. How will the recent accreditation of IIM Indore by AACSB change the future?
While change has been a continuous endeavor at IIM-I, the international accreditation further strengthens our resolve to improve our research, teaching, industry engagement, and social engagements. A major change we expect is to increase our international footprint in the form of participation in the international rankings and increase numbers of exchangewith foreign institutions for the purposes of research, student enrolment, and faculty.
Q. What are the Challenges faced for incubating a startup from an institutional point of view?
Start-ups require a very organic environment, which may or may not be possible in a semi-government institute due to extreme regulations.
Q. What differences still we have as compared to international institutions like MIT, Harvard, and Cambridge?
The named institutions attract a wide variety of students as well as engage with industry at multiple levels. However, the same is not possible in India due to regulatory and overall environmental factors.
Q. What efforts are taken to help the government reform the higher education system in India?
We regularly engage with the government agencies for teaching, capability building, policy advisory, impact analysis, and policy formulation.
