Hyderabad’s moving ahead in the race of startup not only national but also globally. Recently released Startup Ecosystem Rankings-2019 by StartupBlink substantiates this. From being set 190th in 2017 to being positioned the 75th in the start-up ecosystem in the world in 2019, Hyderabad has seen a noteworthy jump in the worldwide rankings.
The rankings were done based on three principle parameters – quantity, quality and business environment. Around 10,000 collaborating spaces and 60,000 new businesses were considered. To comprehend the nature of startup environment, the parameters like presence of unicorns (new companies esteemed over one billion dollars), presence of global co-working brands and mass startup events with a large number of participants were likewise considered.
Hyderabad had colossal jump forward in the rankings, but still, it a long way to as compared to Bengaluru. Bengaluru still rules this area in the startup ecosystem and the city was rank 11th in the world ahead of cities like Paris, Tokyo and Beijing. Three different urban areas from the nation are in front of Hyderabad, specifically New Delhi (18), Mumbai(29) and Chennai (74).
