The Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced the Agniveervayu Recruitment 2025, inviting applications from unmarried male and female candidates. Eligible individuals can apply online from January 7, 2025, through the official recruitment portal, vayu.agnipath.cdac.in. Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: Applicants must be born between January 1, 2005, and July 1, 2008. Candidates should not exceed 21 years of age at the time of enrollment.
Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates are eligible. Female applicants must agree not to become pregnant during the four-year service period.
Educational Qualifications
For Science Stream Candidates:
– Must have cleared Class 12 or an equivalent examination with Mathematics and Physics, achieving at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
– Alternatively, candidates can hold a three-year diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, or IT) with 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English (in the diploma course or Class 10/12 if English was not part of the diploma).
– Those with a two-year vocational course in Physics and Mathematics must also meet the 50% criteria in aggregate and English.
For Non-Science Stream Candidates:
– Must have passed Class 12 in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
– Alternatively, candidates can complete a two-year vocational course with the same scoring criteria.
