The IFMR Graduate School of Business (IFMR GSB) at Krea University has launched the National Human Resource Development Network (NHRDN) Student Chapter. Dr. TV Rao, President of NHRDN and Chairman of TV Rao Learning Systems Pvt Ltd, inaugurated the chapter virtually. NHRDN focuses on skill-building and competency enhancement, particularly for students and young professionals.
The NHRD Krea Chapter will connect students with industry leaders and expose them to emerging HR trends. Established in 1985, NHRDN is a non-profit organization with over 20,000 members across 54 chapters in India and Singapore. This initiative will strengthen the link between academia and industry, as mentioned in the press release by Krea University.
Professor Sridhar Narayanan, founder of the Grand Alliance for Management Excellence (GAME), led delegates in taking the NHRDN Code of Conduct pledge. Dhananjay Singh, Director General of NHRDN, joined virtually and emphasised the collaboration’s role in strategic planning, change management, leadership, and innovation.
The event also featured insights from Dr. Aquil Busrai, CEO of Aquil Busrai Consulting and former NHRDN President, along with J. Kabilan, President of NHRDN’s Chennai Chapter and VP-HR at L&T Construction. They discussed how this partnership will enhance leadership development, strategic HR planning, and industry best practices.
