IIIT-Delhi Invites Applications for Phd Positions

Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi has opened applications for its Ph.D. programme. The multiple research areas of research involve five major disciplines namely Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Computational Biology (CB), Mathematics (Maths), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), and Social Sciences (SS).

Currently has more than 140 Ph.D. scholars on the roll, students have an opportunity to become a part of government-funded fellowships like DST-INSPIRE, PM fellowship, DBT, Visvesvaraya, CSIR, UGC etc. The institute also offers exclusive opportunity to get an exposure to international research environment through Overseas Research Fellowship.

Candidates in the final year of their programs and who expect to complete their qualifying degree requirement in current academic session are also eligible to apply for admissions. Students will get an attractive stipend of Rs.27, 000 per month in the first year during this programme and up to Rs.30,000 per month during second to the fourth year.

Application forms should be submitted online at https://www.iiitd.edu.in/phdapr2018/. The last date for submission will be 1 April 2018 (till 17:00). Candidates can apply only through the online application portal. There is no provision for offline submission of application forms. There is no application fee for the Ph.D. program.
