Business and management studies have become the most sought-after post-graduate programs. Diverse specializations, increased demand for management roles, and the availability of quality institutions have all contributed to its continued popularity. The latest report by Wizikey, Asia’s fastest-growing media intelligence company recognizes the Top 50 B-Schools of India in February that have been in the news.
The rankings are based on Wizikey’s metric News Score which measures news visibility for brands & individuals by analyzing the volume of news, headlines presence, the reach of publications, and much more.
IIM Ahmedabad tops the list with a 66.4 news score. The business school is the most sought-after institute in India. The institute definitely knows how to be in the headlines, from stories pertaining to placements to students’ journeys to the IIM-A. Additionally, the announcement by IIM-Ahmedabad to establish a $100 mn climate technology fund also grabbed the attention.
Reigning in second place is IIM Bangalore with a 63.3 news score. The institute made headlines for the job offers received by its students. The third rank belongs to the Indian School of Business (ISB) with 62.8.
Others in the list are Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM-L), Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C), Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM-K), Xavier Labour Research Institute Jamshedpur (XLRI), Faculty of Management Studies Delhi (FMS), Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIM-U), and Indian Institute of Technology Delhi – DMS (IIT-D).
