The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) has launched a new programme for IT professionals. Information Technology Management for Strategic Business Leadership is a six-month course designed for future Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and Chief Technology Officers (CTOs). It helps IT specialists transition into strategic business leaders.
Key Details
The application deadline is April 29, 2025. Candidates must pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 2,000 + GST. The total programme fee (excluding the application fee) is Rs 4,00,000 + GST. A technical orientation will take place on May 7, 2025, and classes start on May 10, 2025.
IIM Ahmedabad is offering this programme in collaboration with Jaro Education, an executive education provider. Applicants need at least 60% in their undergraduate (10+2+3) or postgraduate degrees. They should also be in senior roles when applying.

Learning Approach & Certification
The programme combines online and on-campus learning. Online sessions are held every Sunday from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Participants will also attend two campus immersion modules at IIM Ahmedabad. The first will occur from May 10-12, 2025, and the second in November 2025.
Participants must maintain at least 80% attendance to receive a Certificate of Completion from IIM Ahmedabad. The programme also offers networking opportunities with industry peers and future technology leaders.
