IIM Kozhikode (IIMK) has launched a special campaign for its Women Leadership Programme. The initiative runs from March 3 to March 14, 2025. It aims to support women professionals in leadership roles. The programme, in partnership with Emeritus, provides expert training and networking opportunities. This effort helps reduce the gender gap in leadership.
Addressing the Gender Gap in Leadership
A Mind the Gender Gap Report 2024 by the CFA Institute reveals striking facts. Women make up less than 20% of the global workforce. Only 10% hold key managerial roles. Female directors occupy fewer than 20% of board positions. Additionally, they earn just 44% of what their male colleagues make. These figures highlight the need for leadership programmes. IIM Kozhikode’s initiative prepares women to break barriers and succeed in executive roles.
