The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow), ranked fourth among Indian business schools by FT-100, has partnered with Emeritus to introduce the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) Programme. This nine-month initiative aims to equip HR professionals with the tools needed to navigate organisational disruption, inspire high-performing teams, and drive sustainable growth.
As businesses face rapid digitalisation and shifting workforce expectations, the role of HR leaders has evolved into that of strategic architects. According to Gartner’s Top 5 Priorities for HR Leaders in 2025 report, while 87% of HR leaders recognise the need for transformation, only 36% feel their current development programmes adequately prepare them for future challenges.
Designed for current and aspiring CHROs, CPOs, and senior executives, the programme focuses on agility, digitalisation, and people-centric leadership. Participants will explore modules on strategic HR leadership, talent strategy, and C-suite leadership, alongside real-world case studies and a capstone project guided by IIM Lucknow faculty.
Speaking on the programme, Avnish Singhal, Executive Vice President, India and APAC at Emeritus, said, “This programme addresses the evolving needs of HR leaders, equipping them to align HR strategies with business goals and foster resilient workforces.”
