The Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIM-N) has announced 100% placement for its MBA Class of 2023–25, with a significant achievement in gender diversity — 46% of the 267 graduates were women, marking a 3% rise from the previous batch.

Gender Inclusion at the Forefront
At the 9th Convocation Ceremony, IIM-N Director Dr. Bhimaraya Metri emphasized the institute’s strides toward inclusivity. Of the 267 regular MBA graduates, 120 were women and 147 men, showcasing the institute’s commitment to building a balanced academic environment.
In total, 329 MBA students graduated this year, including:
- 267 from the regular MBA program
- 35 from the Executive MBA (Pune Campus)
- 27 from the Executive MBA (Nagpur Campus)
Growing Industry Trust
The placement season saw a surge in industry engagement:
- 89 companies participated in final placements
- 98 companies offered summer internships
This reflects the increasing trust recruiters place in IIM Nagpur’s talent pool.
10 Years of Growth and Expansion
CP Gurnani, Chairman of the Board of Governors, acknowledged IIM Nagpur’s decade-long journey and announced major infrastructure expansion plans to support its academic and research ambitions.
Future Collaborations
The institute also revealed an upcoming partnership with the Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL). Puneet Chhatwal, MD & CEO of IHCL and the chief guest at the convocation, urged graduates to lead with vision and purpose.
“If you follow purpose, success is just a consequence,” Chhatwal said. “Practising without vision is not sustainable.”
A total of 62 Executive MBA students were also awarded certificates during the event.
