IIM Sambalpur, renowned for its innovation, inclusivity, and integrity, has announced the launch of its first full-time MBA programme in Business Analytics at its Delhi campus. The course is open to candidates with a strong CAT percentile, a STEM academic background, and at least one year of relevant professional experience.
In a significant step towards global collaboration, the institute has partnered with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, to offer a dual-degree programme. AIT’s MBA is highly regarded, ranked #23 in Asia and among the top 200 globally by the 2024 QS Global MBA Rankings.
The new programme combines cutting-edge analytics with technological and managerial expertise, aligning with the increasing demand for professionals skilled in artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, and advanced analytics. Students will follow the STEM education framework, integrating disciplines like science, technology, and engineering with management principles.
Participants will study at IIM Sambalpur’s Delhi campus in the first year, with the option to complete their second year at AIT Thailand. Graduates will earn dual degrees and benefit from a one-year extended work visa in Thailand, enabling them to kickstart their international careers.
Prof. Mahadeo Jaiswal, Director of IIM Sambalpur, stated, “This programme positions our students to excel in a data-driven world. It underscores India’s ambitions as a global analytics hub while fostering innovation and inclusivity.”
