The Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur (IIM Sambalpur) has opened registrations for its inaugural MBA program in Fintech Management, available in both single and dual degree options. Interested candidates can apply through the official website from April 25 to May 24, 2024.
The dual degree option provides an opportunity to obtain a certificate in Fintech Management from IIM Sambalpur and an MBA in International Finance from Sorbonne Business School.
IIM Sambalpur is the first among IIMs to introduce an MBA in Fintech Management, in collaboration with the NSE Academy, a subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange. These programs are designed to meet the evolving demands of the finance and technology industries.
Eligibility Requirements for the course :
— Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in any field with at least 50% marks. While candidates from any discipline are eligible, those with backgrounds in business, economics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or related fields are preferred.
— Applicants are required to have a minimum of two years of post- qualification managerial, entrepreneurial, or professional experience, as of the final application date.
— Applicants are required to provide a “no objection certificate” or “consent letter” from their employer. Those who are self-employed must submit a similar declaration.
Both programs last 18 months and consist of 17 specialized courses. These courses feature immersions at IIM Sambalpur and NSE Academy in Mumbai for the MBA in Fintech Management program. Students in the dual degree program will also have an international immersion at Sorbonne Business School in Paris.
