IIT Bhubaneswar will join forces with the Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships (AOTS), a Japanese association, for HR improvement and to advance specialized co-activity.
AOTS is built up under the Japanese government’s service of the economy, exchange and industry (METI) and at present capacities as their strategy executions associations in the field of industry and human resource improvement in developing nations through training, master dispatch and different projects.
RV Rajakumar, director of the IIT Bhubaneswar, said the association will have a solid concentration towards the professional improvement of students, a formation of different academic and business openings including occasions to advance training, internships and work for students.
“The cooperation will be beneficial for both the nations for their new technological developments. My institution will also explore collaboration in areas like robotics, augmented and virtual reality, energy, climate change and other areas,” said Rajakumar.
AOTS will begin projects to connect Japanese firms and students of IIT Bhubaneswar through Japan Desk, Japan Week and Japan Languages training. Japan Desk will have one Japanese-local individual to connect Japanese organizations with IIT students. Japan week will have company introduction workshops and job fairs for students. Japan language classes alongside Japanese Soft Skill program will give IIT students important bits of knowledge about Japan and their associations.
