Former students of IIT Delhi have introduced PiFy, India’s first WhatsApp-based AI educational programme, offering an innovative and affordable solution for academic support. Designed to provide instant doubt resolution for students and teachers alike, PiFy allows users to scan a QR code to access its services on WhatsApp. The platform enables students to receive step-by-step solutions, generate mock test papers, and submit revision notes—all within a seamless, user-friendly interface.
Many AI-powered educational tools are often expensive, complex, or lack real-time support. PiFy aims to bridge this gap by offering an accessible, cost-effective alternative. Students can simply send text or image-based queries and receive precise, personalised solutions in real-time. Available 24/7, the platform ensures that students can clarify doubts at any time, making it an ideal resource during study sessions and exam preparation.
The pay-per-use model allows students to resolve up to 100 queries for under INR 200, making it significantly more affordable than traditional tutoring services. PiFy supports a wide range of subjects, competitive exams, and regional languages, with advanced features such as Natural Language Processing (NLP) and image recognition to enhance accuracy and usability.
Developed with the support of DRIIV, under the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA), Government of India, PiFy eliminates the need for app downloads, ensuring a hassle-free experience. Its confidential and inclusive environment makes it especially beneficial for students who may hesitate to seek help in traditional classroom settings.
