On 13 March 2024, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) inked a CSR agreement with IIT Delhi to cooperate on applied research. As per an official statement from IIT Delhi, the CSR agreement between IAI and IIT showcases IAI’s dedication to its corporate social responsibility in India. The collaboration encompasses joint projects, training initiatives, and research consultancy endeavours.
According to the official statement, the partnership between IAI and IIT-Delhi will showcase a common vision that utilizes research to advance progress and technological prowess, jointly shaping the future of technology in India.
According to Boaz Levy, President and CEO of IAI, the collaboration with IIT Delhi, known for its esteemed engineering and technology programs, is a source of pride. He emphasized that the CSR agreement demonstrates IAI’s commitment to advancing technology and innovation in India, foreseeing ongoing fruitful collaboration as integral to their shared vision of promoting innovation and technology in both countries.
According to Preeti Ranjan Panda, Dean of Corporate Relations at IIT-Delhi, this partnership is in line with the institute’s dedication to pioneering research and technological progress. Collaborating with IAI, the institute aspires to make substantial contributions to the advancement of technology in India.
