IIT Delhi has issued a press statement announcing a joint PhD program with the University of Queensland. The applications for the program is now open and will close on March 18, 2025.
This program, set to begin in July, currently has over 100 enrolled students and provides a unique academic experience. It offers a higher fellowship amount than regular domestic PhD programs, according to the press statement.
Candidates with backgrounds in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, humanities, and social sciences can apply.
Selected students will spend one year at the University of Queensland’s Brisbane campus and three years at IIT Delhi, gaining international research exposure.
All successful UQ–IITD PhD applicants will receive a scholarship covering their candidature for up to four years, based on a full-time study loan.
