The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has introduced three online Postgraduate Diploma programmes aimed at upskilling professionals in high-growth sectors: Healthcare Product Development and Management, Electric Vehicle (EV) Technology, and Advanced Communication Engineering with Quantum and AI Integration.
Each programme is designed as a 12-month course, featuring interactive online sessions conducted by IIT Delhi faculty in collaboration with industry experts. Participants will also gain affiliate alumni status from IIT Delhi.
Programme Overview
PG Diploma in Healthcare Product Development and Management
Offered by the Centre for Biomedical Engineering (CBME), this course equips learners to develop and commercialize healthcare technologies. The curriculum includes biomedical innovation, regulatory strategy, product lifecycle management, and market readiness.
Includes optional two-day campus immersion.
Eligibility: Professionals with backgrounds in biomedical engineering, biotechnology, life sciences, or healthcare, with a minimum of two years of industry experience.
PG Diploma in Electric Vehicle (EV) Technology
Launched by the Centre for Automotive Research and Tribology (CART), this programme supports India’s EV transition. It covers core EV technologies and challenges, along with three campus immersion sessions.
Target Audience: Engineers, technologists, entrepreneurs, and working professionals looking to enter or expand in the EV sector.
PG Diploma in Advanced Communication Engineering with Quantum and AI Integration
Offered by the Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management, this programme combines next-gen wireless technologies with AI and quantum communication.
Ideal For: Professionals with backgrounds in ECE, EE, CSE, IT, Data Science, Mathematics, or Applied Physics.
Career Outcomes: Roles such as Quantum Communication Engineer, AI/ML Specialist in Telecom, 5G/6G Network Engineer, and Quantum Cybersecurity Expert.
