The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has set a new benchmark in the ongoing placement season, with undergraduate students receiving a record number of unique job offers in 2025. So far, around 850 unique offers have been made to UG students—the highest ever for the institute.
The placement season is still underway, and the number is expected to grow further in the coming weeks.
Consistent Growth Over the Years
The upward trend continues from previous years, with 781 offers made in 2024, 768 in 2023, and 712 in 2022. This steady rise highlights IIT Delhi’s growing prominence as a talent hub for top recruiters globally.

Several top-tier companies have made double-digit offers this year, including:

- Barclays
- Boston Consulting Group (BCG)
- Microsoft
- Oracle
- Squarepoint Capital
- Texas Instruments
- Meesho
- BlueStone Jewellery & Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd.
- Deutsche India Pvt. Ltd.
- Graviton Research Capital
- PayU
Additionally, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) such as Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd., Petronet LNG, Indian Oil Corporation, and the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) have also recruited UG students from IIT Delhi.
International Opportunities
The institute continues to attract global recruiters, with international offers coming from countries including Japan, the Netherlands, South Korea, Taiwan, the UAE, the UK, and the United States.

According to an exit survey conducted by the institute for the 2024 graduating batch, 30% of students opted for alternative career paths, including:
