The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT-K) has officially launched the ‘SATHEE SSC’ platform, designed to provide comprehensive coaching for students preparing for Staff Selection Commission (SSC) examinations. This initiative, backed by the Ministry of Education, aims to deliver affordable and quality training, particularly benefiting economically disadvantaged students.
In a statement, IIT Kanpur highlighted that SATHEE SSC is committed to ensuring equal access to educational resources, enabling aspirants to prepare effectively alongside their peers. The platform will feature an extensive array of study materials, practice tests, video lectures, and interactive sessions led by experienced educators, harnessing technology to enhance the learning experience.
Professor Manindra Agrawal, the director of IIT Kanpur, emphasised the alignment of SATHEE SSC with the goals of the National Educational Policy 2020. “With the launch of SATHEE SSC, we are expanding our commitment to making premier education accessible to all,” he stated. He further added that this initiative is a pivotal step in empowering students across India with the help of technology.
Initially, the SATHEE platform will offer courses and study materials tailored for the SSC Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) examination, with plans to extend its resources to cover other SSC exams in the future. Aspirants can register for SATHEE SSC through the official website at sathee.iitk.ac.in or by downloading the SATHEE app available on the App Store and Google Play Store.
In addition to its educational offerings, SATHEE SSC features an innovative AI-enabled tutoring system, which provides a personalised learning experience tailored to the unique needs of each student.
