LinkedIn has released its report on workforce named, “India Workforce Report – Professional Edition | India | H2 2018”.
As per the report, New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad are the top three places to attract talent from all over India. Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Vadodara and Jaipur are the few other cities in the list.
The demand in Hyderabad was highest for employees from Bengaluru (for software engineering), Vijayawada (for software engineering and information-technology recruiter positions), and New Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai (software engineering). In terms of sending out talent, employees from Hyderabad moved primarily to Bengaluru, Vijayawada, New Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai.
Top hiring in the largest industries are Software & IT services, manufacturing and finance as per the report with corporate services and education are the sizeable sectors. Software Engineer is the leading position being hired in web and mobile applications, data analytics companies and online pharmaceutical sector. Apart from software engineer, business management roles are in high demand across the domain.
Top skills across domain in demand of are management, team management and leadership whereas tech skill like SQL, Java and programming language C.
The top international destination for corporate migrate is USA followed by UAE, Canada, UK and Australia.
