The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced an exciting opportunity for students eager to begin their careers, with 4,232 apprentice vacancies across various trades. What sets this recruitment drive apart is that selection will be based entirely on merit, with no examination involved. A merit list will be prepared, followed by document verification and a medical examination.
The vacancies span multiple trades, including Air Conditioning, Diesel Mechanic, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Fitter, Painter, and Welder.
To be eligible, candidates must have completed Class 10 from a recognised board with at least 50% marks and possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade. Applicants must be between the ages of 15 and 24 as of December 28, 2024, with relaxations for candidates from reserved categories.
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend ranging from Rs 7,700 to Rs 20,200. Application fees are Rs 100 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, PH, and female candidates are exempt.
