C Space in Hyderabad, which is spread over 25,000 square feet, is the brainchild of actor Navdeep Pallapolu as well as Pavan Goparaju, a financial consultant, who mainly worked with the Telugu film industry. C Space being the first incubation centre for cinema, in India invites cinema enthusiasts to ‘connect, collaborate and create’ content.
The centre has opened its doors in the first week of April in Hyderabad and since then the core team has received around 1,800 applications from aspiring writers, directors and technicians, who are interested to use the collaborative space. Applications will be filtered based on a promising script or an idea and guidance will be given by the core team and industry experts. C Space is interested to build a script lab.
Anyone interested to write, direct, edit, compose or sing for films, they can check www.cspace.global or email at info@cspace.global. The centre is providing the platform to writers, composers, editors, cinematographers and directors by giving access to edit suite, photo lab, recording studio, a preview theatre and meeting rooms. In future, C Space is expecting to have incubation centres across India for other film industries too.
There are many incubation centres for technology start-ups in Hyderabad, but it’s a new concept for cinema.
