A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Indian School of Business (ISB) with the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo in order to strengthen executive education and research in emerging markets. It has been agreed to conduct joint educational modules, exchange faculty & research staff, organize joint events, academic research and other initiatives. Professor Rajendra Srivastava, ISB Dean said ISB takes it as a great opportunity to expand the frontiers of academic collaborations globally with like-minded partners.
It will strengthen their Executive Education Programmes and also ongoing research on emerging markets by collaborating with Skolkovo, the number one brand in Russia. Professor Marat Atnashev, Skolkovo Dean said it will enhance the importance of the schools’ academic collaboration with the joint research conducted between ISB’s Initiative for Emerging Market Studies (IEMS) and Skolkovo IEMS (Institute for Emerging Market Studies).
With this MoU, it was agreed by both the schools to work on various areas related to executive education, public policy and family business. Skolkovo School will also get help from ISB in its Eurasia initiative.
