Country’s top diplomat in the US has said, “India saw its best phase of macro-economic stability in the past five years. Plus, it is on a journey to become the fifth largest economy in the world by the end of this year.” The statements were meant to inspire the young American students to come and study in India.
He spoke this at the ongoing 71st Annual Conference and Expo of Association of International Educators.
The ambassador Harsh Vardhan Shringla spoke on the importance and prominent role played by the University Grants Commission (UGC)in coordinating, determining and maintaining the standard of Indian university education.
He assured of safety against any fraud institutions that may try and tap in to attract the students.
“As we have a robust ranking/accreditation system, you are guaranteed of the excellent quality education,” Shringla said Tuesday.
“Additionally, you will be part of fastest growing major global economy. It would be a golden opportunity to understand the government systems, culture, and markets closely,” he said.
