- MSc students, after completing the 1st semester, for a minimum of 120 days.
- PhD scholars, after completing coursework, for a duration of at least 30 months. All participants must maintain a minimum aggregate of 60% or CGPA 6.32. Traineeships are awarded based on project availability and student suitability.
ISRO stresses the importance of practical experience and offers essential guidelines for interns and trainees:
- No stipend or financial aid is offered.
- Accommodation facilities are not provided, although guest house/hostel options may be available for a fee.
- Certificates are granted upon successful completion of projects/internships.
- Access is restricted to unclassified areas of ISRO labs/establishments.
- Authorization is required for publishing papers/reports related to ISRO activities.
